North of Philadelphia, born and raised, Mike found himself moving west until finally discovering Helena and its almost endless trails. During this, Mike screened films for Nat Geo, raised money to conserve African wildlife, protected public lands in Montana, and ran a successful downtown organization in Helena. Throughout all of this, Mike sought out opportunities to lead, manage, and organize, especially since he’s more Type A than he cares to admit. Which works well for a Project Manager.

Mike spends a good portion of his time outside, whether it’s running the trails down the street from his house, hitting up the numerous local ski hills in Montana, or finding another grueling backpacking trip to tackle. All of this is done with his awesome wife and somewhat neurotic German shorthaired pointer.
